The History
In 1941 Mr. Felice Colombo founded F. Colombo S.r.l. - Attrezzi utensili, a factory producing tools by machining. Starting from a small industry, it soon distinguished for the high quality of its products: at the beginning of fifties it was already a well established company and supplier to the main italian automobile companies such as Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Moto Gilera and Moto Guzzi. The firm attention to the quality of the products together with the needs of a more profitable process led F.COLOMBO S.r.l. to enter the die forging field for ferrous metal: during the second half of fifties the Company has a press room already operating. Since then the growth of die forging activity has been constant due to a continuous demand: at the end of sixties the core business of the Company became the die forging of metals so the company name changed into F. Colombo S.r.l. - Stampaggio metalli a caldo . From the very beginning of die forging activity, research has been for F.COLOMBO S.r.l. the essential step in providing the technological progress necessary to obtain and maintain leadership in this field: carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys, titanium alloys and chromium-cobalt alloy form the range of forgeable metals already consolidated today. Its continuous dedication to die forging for over 20 years has truly made of F.COLOMBO a brand name in this very challenging and extremely important field of mechanics. Since 1996 F.
